Part 1: How to prep for the application season

Before you ever submit an application, you have to prepare for the process to apply.

What does that mean?

Simply put, you need to be organized enough to understand that applying for college is not as simple as just submitting a document. There is no such thing as taking “too much time” on your application.

Remember we discussed that part of your plan should involve understanding what you need to actually do to apply to a college.

You need to think of this in two ways:

  1. There is the physical application requirements that need to be met (e.g., the SAT if it is required)

  2. There are the other unspoken requirements that need to be met (e.g., a rigorous academic schedule)
